Due to the real estate demand, companies are looking for new systems that are efficient and manage to reduce costs and times, to replace the traditional ones that often cause cost overruns and errors caused by human error. That is why this research aims to conduct a comparative analysis about costs and execution times, between the Vigacero system and the traditional system of lightened slabs, in a 4-story single-family home in the city of Trujillo. This research has a quantitative approach, non-experimental design at a descriptive level. As a result, a reduction of the total cost of the project of S/.24,383.83 soles were obtained, using the Vigacero system. Likewise, the execution time of this system is 28 days faster than the conventional one. In addition, it was found that it is the system that uses less material for formwork and emptying of lightened slabs, therefore it has a lower carbon footprint. Finally, it was concluded that the best option is the Vigacero system, due to its lower cost and execution time, which in turn leads to a lower general expense; in addition to having less impact on the environment and being a lightweight system that is easy to install.
