The main purpose of this research is to design a flexible porous pavement to examine its contribution as an alternative to improve rain drainage in the town of Canta-Lima, for this a PEN 85/100 asphalt with REDICOTE 82-S adhesion improver was used, granular aggregates from the “Chillón Quarry“. The research is of the experimental type with an Explanatory-Correlational scope. 45 briquettes were analyzed, 15 briquettes for Marshall stability, 15 briquettes for the Cantabrian wear loss test in the dry state and 15 briquettes for the Cantabrian wear loss test in the wet state. With this, it was obtained that the optimum percentage of asphalt is 4.5%, obtaining values of 706 Kg of corrected stability, 18.93% loss due to wear in dry Cantabrian and 32.61% loss due to wear in wet Cantabrian. Finally a hydrological study was carried out, finding that surface runoff flow in a traditional flexible pavement is 37.55 m3 / h; However, in a flexible porous pavement this flow is reduced to 15.90 m3 / h, observing a decrease of 57.66% of the flow, with which it is shown that it is possible to design it and showing that it is a great alternative to help in the pluvial drainage of the area under study.
