ABSTRACT The objective of this work was to reduce the operating costs of Lindley S.A. Through proposals for improvement under the TPM philosophy in the Production Area, Line 2. First a diagnosis was made of the current situation in the ProductionArea, Line 2. This area was selected since it was diagnosed that it was the largest Criticality in the company, 7 root causes were found. Once the stage of problem identification was completed, a diagnosis was made of the company, which took into account all the problems that were evidenced in order to demonstrate the aforementioned. Subsequently, the root causes were prioritized through the Pareto diagram to determine the economic impact generated by the company in these problems represented by monetary losses. Additionally the production process of the bottling of the beverages in the Production Line 2 was described, and the improvement tools that help to attack the root causes were established. The present research presents proposals for improvement with its respective economic and financial evaluation, and contains tools, procedures, forms and standardized documents that allow to control the production process. Finally, with all the information analyzed and collected; And from the diagnosis that has beenelaborated, an analysis of the results was presented, obtaining as result an IRR of 70% and a NPV of S /. 167,771, which indicated that the project is profitable, corroborating with quantitative data, the evidence presented and the improvement achieved with the improvement proposals under the TPM philosophy.
