Nowadays, companies that want to grow have to start selling on credit, with the risks that this may imply. Therefore, it is important for any company to have adequate control and follow-up of trade accounts receivable, in order to keep enough liquidity that allows them to continue growing. This research work based on the company Monarca Comercial S.A.C., we found that the entity before 2018, did not have a computerized accounting system and due to the increasing of its sales volume, the manual accounting system that they were using, did not allow them to keep an adequate control and monitoring of its trade accounts receivable. To obtain accurate and real information that allows us to analyze how a computerized accounting system improves the collection of trade accounts receivable, we use techniques such as the survey and observation made to personnel from the credits and collections and the accounting departments, as well as the general manager of the company. A documentary and field analysis was used to determine the need to apply a computerized accounting system in order to improve the trade accounts receivable, since this system process and integrates the information fast, clearly and accurate. This allows the company to have reliable information of the trade accounts receivable.
