The present scientific research aims to determine whether there is a relationship between academic procrastination and academic stress in senior university students in East Lima in 2021. This study was developed based on a non-experimental design and under a quantitative approach of correlational scope. For this purpose, two instruments were used, which were “The academic procrastination scale“ by Sergio Domínguez, consisting of 12 items, and “The academic stress inventory“ with acronym SISCO, consisting of 32 items, the sample consisted of 100 students who met the requested inclusion criteria, 67% being women and 33% men from different careers. Due to the context of COVID-19, the instruments were adapted to a virtual form. To obtain the results, the Spearman correlational coefficient was used, where the main objective was confirmed, the existence of a statistically significant relationship (rho = 0.396, p<0.01), thus demonstrating that a higher level of procrastination will in turn increase the level of academic stress.
