The main objective of this research is to determine how the stereotypes of female beauty and the advertising photography of female lingerie in the digital catalog of Leonisa are related. Therefore, this work was carried out in a determined period through a descriptive, correlational qualitative - not experimental procedure. Data collection was carried out through direct observation of the images in the selected catalog and interviews with Leonisa Peru co-workers, in Trujillo. Thus, a dialogue was held with a catalog saleswoman and with a Leonisa area leader to inquire about Leonisa's beauty stereotypes and her intentional use in the promotion of women's lingerie. In the same way, an interview was applied to a professional photographer specialized in advertising photography to know and understand the impact of beauty stereotypes in advertising photography of women's lingerie (use of models and visual composition). Then an analysis of the results obtained with these instruments was carried out, with the theoretical support, in order to respond to the proposed objectives. It is concluded that the stereotypes of female beauty and the advertising photography of Leonisa's lingerie are related to create a physically ideal feminine image, with the aim of attracting the viewer since the stereotypes are easy to recognize and generate an immediate connection. In addition, the models used to display the garments and their attributes through advertising photography represent the ideal-self of the clients, as well as a visual seducer that instantly attracts and is the end of persuasive advertising and projective advertising. Finally, it is recommended to humanize the image of women and move it from a subjective plane to a real plane that fits with the morphology, culture and ideals of the final consumer, as recognized brands of lingerie have been doing that appeal to a true image without stereotypes.
