The labor competencies of the human resources currently play an important role within the companies, being that the adequate development of the same allows a better performance of the collaborators, the same one that contributes to the reach of the organizational objectives. The main objective of this descriptive study was to determine the most relevant dimension of the labor competencies of the employees of the Cajamarca Tax Administration - Cajamarca 2018 operations area. The population of the study consisted of 78 employees of the public entity Cajamarca Tributary Administration, regarding the technique and data collection instrument, the survey technique was applied through a questionnaire with a total of 12 questions and to obtain the answers used the Likert scale method, the reliability was determined by the Cronbach's Alpha which was of 0.942. Three dimensions were taken as a basis (do, know and be) and from these, 10 indicators. At the end of the study, the levels of labor competencies were determined and the most relevant labor competencies of the employees of the Cajamarca Tax Administration Service were identified, with the dimensions of Knowledge and Doing the ones that reached a higher level of development in the employees with a percentage of 50%.
