The objective of this research was to determine if there are differences in job satisfaction in remote jobs in secondary level teachers of public and private educational institutions of the department of La Libertad. We worked with a population of 124 secondary level teachers from different educational institutions private and public sectors of the department of La Libertad, considering different socio-demographic factors such as sex, age, work experience, presence of underage children and sector. The type of research is descriptive - comparative, with a quantitative, nonexperimental and transversal approach; in addition, the instrument used was the Questionnaire to determine the level of satisfaction of Sonia Palma (2005) adapted to remote work in teachers by Arias, S. The results were, in the job satisfaction in secondary level teachers of public and private educational institutions, as well as in the job satisfaction (extrinsic and intrinsic) and sociodemographic factors (sex, age, work experience, presence of minor children and sector) state that there are no statistically significant differences (p>.05).
