The present research study is developed because of the problem of complaints and complaints about the delays in the administrative procedures of the Hospital District Vista Alegre, in front of it the MINSA has executed tools that allow to improve the quality of the service of the health centers. One of these tools is the time study, which establishes standards and time parameters for the optimization of processes; and that said hospital does not comply. In this context, our research aims to determine the relevant factors that make it difficult to manage the time in the admission area of the Hospital District Vista Alegre of the city of Victor Larco, 2016. The study is nonexperimental of Descriptive character with transversal design. A test of attitudes was applied to a sample of 15 collaborators and a checklist of observation solved by the authors. The first chapter of the investigation begins with the problematic reality, followed by the formulation of the problem, justification of the research, the limitations that occurred in the development of the study and the objectives set. The second chapter contains the background of the study, and the theoretical bases. The methodology used for the research is developed in the third chapter, the results obtained from the application of the attitudes test and the checklist are described in chapter four. Finally, the fifth chapter discusses and contrasts the results obtained with those of other similar investigations, and finally establishes the conclusions and recommendations for future research on the subject. In conclusion, as a result of the analysis, it was obtained that the main factors that do not allow adequate time management are: postponing tasks, not being able to say “no“ to a request, lack of planning, interruptions, and disorder in the Work environment.
