ABSTRACT This thesis addresses the correlation between the management of the service and the degree of customer satisfaction for the service provided, having as main objective: Design a Deming Cycle methodology (PDVA) for continuous improvement in the Registry Department and Orientation to the Taxpayer of SAT CAJAMARCA that will allow raising the level of service to optimize the satisfaction of the administrated and the taxpayer that enters this institution. Various tools for continuous improvement were used, based on a situational analysis, based on which the management proposal considers: the design of an adequate methodology for customer service processes; Likewise, a methodology for continuous improvement of quality was outlined to generate a budget for the design of the plan. Subsequently, information was collected, questionnaires, interviews and direct observation of the processes and users (administrated and taxpayers) of SAT CAJAMARCA; In addition, management indicators were used to verify and measure both information and results. In this way, the research concludes that the management design of the continuous improvement methodology is directly related to the level of service to the user, since if it is managed efficiently, progress is made in the processes, personnel relations and final administrative procedures of the institution, all this allows us the optimization of resources, and a better relationship with users, managed or contributors.
