ABSTRACT This research has been developed in order to analyze the business opportunities offered by the Spanish market for Peruvian exports of dry whole Paprika pepper from 2015. This research is aimed to entrepreneurs and / or businessmen who want to venture, increase or diversify the destinations and / or export products, by stating that the Spanish market is highly attractive for the sale of dry whole paprika peppers and the added values that would give the product. In the development of the research it has been able to identify the Spanish market as one of the main consumers of paprika pepper and its products. Thus, due to seasonality and short annual production only from July to November, they are forced to import this product to supply demand. It is the main supplier China and Peru is in the list as one of the leading suppliers of dried whole chili Paprika. That is why, a market study of Spain is developed, which recognizes the country as an attractive environment for exports of paprika pepper, due to its economic recovery, growing demand for healthy products by its inhabitants and favorable framework offered by the FTA signed. Likewise, we can say that Peru has favorable conditions for the development of the cultivation of paprika pepper thanks to the production remaining constant since 2010 in various departments of the coast of Peru, with the comparative advantages of annual production and high quality varieties. Finally, it is concluded that Spain is a growing market by the demand for this raw material, thanks to the quality and naturalness of the Peruvian paprika pepper, compliance and the benefits of trade agreements between Peru and the European Union, trade opportunities continue increasing of a larger organization and training of Peruvian producers.
