ABSTRACT The study sought to relate the work climate with burnout syndrome in workers at a regional health management hospital in the Víctor Larco district. The sample consisted of 106 people of both sexes who worked in a hospital in the Víctor Larco District. The instruments used were the Labor Climate Scale - CL-SPC de Palma (2004) and the Maslach Burnout Inventory - MBI-GS questionnaire from Maslach, Jackson and Leiter. At the descriptive level the results indicate that in the working environment the predominance of the scores is located in the medium and unfavorable levels with 54.76% and 14.29%, while, in terms of dimensions, the predominance of the scores is located from medium to favorable , For self-actualization 44.05% and 22.62%, for labor involvement 46.43% and 26.19%, for supervision 36.90% and 39.29%, for communication 42.86% and 35.71% and working conditions 44.05% and 26.19%; In addition, the predominant levels in the dimensions of the burnout syndrome are medium to low, for emotional exhaustion 38.10% and 45.24%, for cynicism 44.05% and 36.90% and for personal fulfillment 29.76% and 53.57%. On the other hand, correlation evidences that there is a negative relation between the dimension of self-realization and cynicism; Positive relationship between labor involvement and personal fulfillment; And, negative relation between supervision with cynicism and positive relation with personal fulfillment, all the mentioned relations present statistical significance. Regarding the work climate with the dimensions of the burnout syndrome, no significant relationships were found. KEYWORDS: occupational climate, burnout syndrome, correlational, transverse.
