Sexismo y las actitudes hacia la violencia de género en estudiantes de una institución educativa pública del nivel secundaria de Lima, 2021

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo, determinar la relación entre el sexismo y las actitudes hacia la violencia de género. El enfoque es cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y alcance correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 209 estudiantes adolescentes de una institución educativa pública del nivel secundaria. Asimismo, para la recolección de información se utilizó la escala de Detección de Sexismo en Adolescentes (DSA) y la Escala de Actitudes hacia la Violencia de Género (EAVG). El análisis de los resultados fue a través del SPSS Versión 24, los cuales evidenciaron que sí existe una relación significativa y directa entre ambos constructos. Por consiguiente, se aceptó la hipótesis de investigación, y se concluyó que, sí existe una relación directa y significativa entre el sexismo y las actitudes hacia la violencia de género.

The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between sexism and attitudes towards gender violence. The approach is quantitative, non-experimental design, cross-sectional and correlational in scope. The sample consisted of 209 adolescent students from a public secondary school. Likewise, the Detection of Sexism in Adolescents scale (DSA) and the Gender Violence Attitudes Scale (EAVG) were used for data collection. The results were analyzed using SPSS Version 24, which showed that there is a significant and direct relationship between the two constructs. Therefore, the research hypothesis was accepted, and it was concluded that there is a direct and significant relationship between sexism and attitudes towards gender violence.
