This work will focus on the SOCIO ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF AGGREGATE EXTRACTION FROM EL GAVILAN QUARRY, FOR MAINTENANCE OF THE HIGHWAY STREET: CONCHAN - CAJAMARCA. (KM 43+000 - KM 56+900), 2021, the objective of this work is to know and propose controls of the impacts associated with the activities to be developed to the extraction of aggregates such as the contamination of the physical and socio-cultural environment, for the periodic maintenance of the departmental road allowing a sustainable environmental management, bades on prevention. It will help us to know and mitigate the environmental impacts that originate during and after carrying out the project activities. The purpose of periodic maintenance is to correct specific defects in the road, avoid its deterioration and preserve its surface characteristics and structural integrity; therefore, the activities have been prioritized to allow the improvement of the permanent and safe breathability of the departmental road to be intervened. To compensate the negative impacts by strengthening the benefits to be generated by the execution of the periodic maintenance of the departmental road. The methodology used is based on questionnaires to determine the social and environmental impact, resulting in the aggregate extraction activity generating positive social impacts and minimal negative environmental impacts.
