The present research aims to study the principles of neuroarchitecture applied to the architectural design of a High Performance Sports Swimming Center in the city of Trujillo, and how they achieve that with the configuration and connection of spaces, movement and proportion, distribution and relationship with the environment, they can be used in their entirety (interior-exterior) in order to respond and improve aquatic sports performance according to the future needs of users. In turn, it is known that currently the mentioned city and the Peruvian Sports Swimming Federation do not have specialized sports equipment. Highly competitive swimming athletes need an optimal space that allows them to activate sensory incentives in the process of sports performance. For this reason, the general objective of the project is to determine how the principles of neuroarchitecture affect the approach to the architectural project. The methodology is developed in a descriptive way, with the study of literature and research antecedents to delimit the theoretical framework that identifies the dimensions, sub-dimensions and indicators that are applied in different architectural cases by means of a variable operationalization table. Due to this analysis, the influence of the variable on the architectural facts is demonstrated. Finally, as a result of the research, the design guidelines of the project were determined, which are: connection of the space with the natural environment, proportion and shape of the space, and visual stimulus for orientation.
