The objective of this research work was to determine the influence of the reinforcement system by means of wooden framework on the seismic behavior in adobe houses in Llamellín; The methodology used according to its purpose is applied, according to its scope it is correlational, according to its approach it is quantitative and according to the manipulation of the variable it is Experimental of a quasi-experimental nature. The procedure was analytical and three structural models were developed, M1, model of only adobe walls, M2, adobe walls reinforced with wooden columns and model M3, adobe walls reinforced with framework of beams and wooden columns, the models were studied in the ETABS program in order to analyze and compare the results. The results obtained show that the M3 timber framing system reduces lateral displacement by more than 30%, and a reduction in mezzanine distortion was also obtained by more than 30%. Reduces the shear force taken by walls by more than 20%. The shear forces of the M3 model take more than 90% of the total effort. It was concluded then that the reinforcement by means of wooden framework in adobe houses influences improving the seismic behavior and the structural system.
