ABSTRACT This is a non-experimental research, framed in the field of consumer protection law within the Consumer Protection Commission, in the city of Trujillo; seeks to identify the breach of the reasonable time seen from the administrative procedure, as is the summary proceedings of the Commission on Consumer Protection. In this connection, it has formulated the problem, How the processing of an administrative file in the way of summary procedure, concerning consumer protection, under the Code of Protection and Consumer Protection - Law 29571 affects the right reasonable time to due process in the city of Trujillo, 2013-2014?, question through research and application of methods and techniques developed in the post, was hypothesized, the processing of an administrative file in via the summary procedure in the field of consumer protection, under the Code of protection and consumer protection - 29571 act affects the right to reasonable time in the due process in the city of Trujillo, 2013-2014 exceeds both the procedure 30 days you working for instance, established by Law 29571. An analytical work involved the assessment procedure of administrative proceedings in the way of summary procedure on consumer protection was made and clarify the involvement reasonable period in summary proceedings concerning consumer protection through analysis of administrative records INDECOPI; in order to determine whether or not this administrative process within the Consumer Protection Commission violates the reasonable period as established by Law 29571 - Code of Protection and Consumer Protection. Therefore, interviews were conducted with professional specialists with extensive knowledge in Intellectual Property Competition Law and Constitutional; with the aim of obtaining informed opinions about this research and to note with the results obtained in the field study as are doctrine contained in books, magazines, item via web, this for the application of technical data collection and analysis administrative files under design or descriptive non-experimental research, sectional: because two variables are analyzed at a certain time in the years 2013 to 2014, correlational - ex post facto; allowing a better way to understand reality posed in the research problem and determine whether the scenario described reflects the information obtained.
