The modern trend in the construction industry is associated with reducing costs and optimizing time by using innovative methods, especially for projects that aim to generate profitability. Therefore, the general objective of the research was to determine the result of the comparative analysis of slab floors using the beam-slab system and the conventional system for multifamily buildings in Trujillo - 2022. To achieve this, a quantitative approach, basic research type, and descriptive design were followed. Three multifamily buildings in the Trujillo district were selected as the sample, and data collection instruments included observation sheets and documentary analysis sheets. The results obtained show significant differences in terms of technical factors because the systems are guided by different technical construction regulations. In terms of time, a reduction of 50% and up to 58% in economic costs related to activities involved in the implementation of slab floors was observed. It was concluded that the Beam-Slab system presents interesting benefits, which implies a series of significant differences compared to the Conventional System, particularly in relation to multifamily buildings.
