The general objective of the research is to determine the results of the application of non- destructive tests in the quality control of the linings for SAG mills, in the company MEPSA. The quality personnel for being relatively new and not having training in issues related to non-destructive testing, in the initial state of 2019 the results of the inspection were 0% rejected and 0% reprocessed. It was possible to determine the final state 2020 after the application of the END by the method of visual inspection of a total of 224 linings, the false positive “increase“ of 2.23% of rejection and 3.57% of rework of the linings for SAG mills, with compared to 2019. This “increase“ is due to the fact that the quality staff was already trained. It was possible to determine the final state 2020 after the application of the END by the method of the magnetic particles of a total of 224 linings, the false positive “increase“ of 2.23% of rejection and 1.79% of rework of the linings for SAG mill, with compared to 2019. Through the ultrasound method, the inspection was increased by 20% with respect to the initial state 2019 where the result was 0% of observations. In the final state of 2020, no observation was detected in the inspections, which was 40% of the linings, which is equivalent to 90 units of a total production of 224 units. It is concluded that 40% of the linings for SAG mills do not present internal defects. Through the application of non- destructive tests in the external inspection in 2019 the rejection results were 2.67% equal to 6 units and the reprocessing was 4.02% equal to 9 units. Unlike the result of the year 2020 of 224 linings, the rejection and rework was 0%. It means that there was no observation by the customer, which inspection was approved.
