ABSTRACT The research “Evaluation of submeter record according to their seniority in the city of Cajamarca 2015“ type of experimental applicative aims to determine the percentage of underreporting average meters of the city of Cajamarca according to their seniority in 2015, where initially the hypothesis that the registration of a meter is -15% when the meter has more than 10 years old was raised, this analysis was performed using a mapping of the district of Cajamarca made 12 sectors business in which the sample were selected proportionally to 387 meters the amount of meters per sector and the date of installation; Data were provided by the service company, which according to the procedure laid down in Regulation Quality of Provision of Sanitation Services, was notified and removed before being tested on the bench meter SEDACAJ SA calibrated by INDECOPI under Rule 005- 2011 Peruvian Metrological where it was found that the average underreporting meters Bank city of Cajamarca amounts to -13.69% and for meters with more than 10 years old amounts to underreporting -20.83%. Of the 387 meters tested only considered 381 because six meters had been manipulated by the users in the internal part and could not be considered in the design of which 37.98% of the meters were operating, ie meets the permissible limits given by INDECOPI, the 60.47 % are inoperative; within the 19.38 meters inoperative% had errors over registration and 41.09% had underreporting errors. Tested 387 meters of 1.55% represents manipulated meters that were separated from the sample. KEYWORDS: operating, underreporting, on record, meters.
