ABSTRACT The present research work aims to apply the tools of continuous improvement in the area of Physical Distribution in the company P & G INDUSTRIAL SRL, to reduce the costs of the delivery of product orders to customers, it is worth mentioning that the transport service is And 14 companies currently carry out the distribution of merchandise at the national level. In the first stage of the research work, the current situation in the area of Physical Distribution in the company P & G INDUSTRIAL S.R.L. was identified, in order to determine the costs and costs that originate the delivery of the merchandise to the customer. On the other hand, he made an Ishikawa Diagram, and determined that there are six causal factors that cause the effect of overcharging, such as: False Freight, Transport Unit Change, Late Arrival Load, Incomplete Cargo, Paused Cargo and Support Trucks. Subsequently, it was possible to determine that sub-causes exist, were analyzed and proposals were made to reduce the costs that affect the company. In order to determine which surcharges can be reduced, the improvement tools were used. Finally, the proposals for improvement were developed, managing to reduce each event that generates overheads in 78% of the amount of annual overheating. Likewise, the cost benefit of the improvement proposals for the Physical Distribution area was analyzed. Keywords: Overcharges, transportation, merchandise, cargo, delays, freight.
