ABSTRACT This thesis gives a detailed propose of implementing the Autonomous Maintenance to increase the efficiency of production in a packing line of refined oil of soybean and sunflower. The stage where the packing company of refined oil of soybean and sunflower develops, is very interesting, since the vegetal oil, is a basic consumer good; being Alicorp its main contestant. In order to maintain us in the market and keep being competitive, is necessary to implement new methodologies that help to do it. Initially, 5S technology was implemented, which showed gradual improvements at workplace, for this reason, what we’re looking for now, is to complement the beginning of this improvement by proposing to implement the Autonomous Maintenance in one of the bottling oil lines. Our research starts at the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) forms, which will show the efficiency of improving one of the existent lines, therefore, it was born the propose of implement the Autonomous Maintenance, whose final objective is to increase the operational efficiency of equipements and process. To complete this propose’s objective, it was realized an analysis of actual situation in packing line of refined oil of soybean and sunflower using Ishikawa diagram, lately, there are set up improvements as: Train officials in the implementation of autonomous maintenance for its correct application in the improvement of the basic conditions of the equipment, increase the efficiency of the equipment, reducing the number of corrective stops, the time of change of format and the number of bottles defective, determine how the increase in efficiency increases the monthly packaged tons, determine how the implementation of autonomous maintenance generates economic benefits in the company refining refined soybean and sunflower oil . As part of the development of Autonomous Maintenance, it begins with the definition and knowledge of the objectives, in order to continue with the training of the Autonomous Maintenance’s seven stages, directed towards the workers. Since third stage, it’ll has to be supported with intern audits, so we can be able to continue with next stage, guaranteeing that the workers has received all the understanding about concepts and objectives of Autonomous Maintenance. Finally, we conclude expressing the following: a) We can determine that having more skilled workers will be more efficient and can achieve a sense of belonging obtaining a sustained growth over time reducing the costs of the process. b) The proper application of Autonomous Maintenance, guarantees an increase in the availability, performance and quality of our process aimed at greater efficiency (OEE) of the process. c) We determine that machines in good condition increase productivity, effectively using Autonomous Maintenance techniques, we ensure reliability and improve the process cycle, guaranteeing a higher product quality and reducing the number of customer complaints in the market. d) With the implementation of autonomous maintenance we ensure the return of the investment in a short time.
