The Integrated Management of Water Resources (IWRM) constitutes the current paradigm of water management at the global level, making itself explicit in national policies for water management at the global level. That is why this research integrated water resource management for the recovery of the water quality of the Piás lagoon, Pataz - 2020, seeks to recover the quality of the water, through a conciliation between economic, social development and protection of ecosystems. For this, a model of an integrated water resource management plan is formulated where the physical-chemical parameters of water samples from the Piás lagoon were analyzed, which were compared with the Environmental Quality Standard (ECA) category 4: Environmental conservation, E1: Lagoons and lakes of the DS N ° 004-2017-MINAM-PERU. The parameters that exceed the ECA category 4 regulations are: Total phosphorus, Sulfide, Mercury, Cadmium, Lead. In this research, the main lines of action are presented in which work is carried out at the national level to achieve the goals proposed in this new model of water resource management; in order to achieve not only a reasonable use of water resources but also improve the living conditions of the populations and the care of the ecosystem.
