The objective of this research work is to propose the design of a photovoltaic system to generate electricity in the town of Punas Carne Rocurral in Llauta-Ayacucho, in order to contribute to access to clean and sustainable energy in rural areas. For this reason, the evaluation of the energy demand of the area was carried out, where the climatic, meteorological and geographical characteristics of the place were studied, with which the photovoltaic system was built according to the identified energy needs. The results obtained indicate that the proposed photovoltaic system can cover the energy demand of 26kWh/month, using three 120W solar panels, 1 150Ah battery, a 30A charge controller and a 375VA stabilizer. Therefore, it is a viable alternative for the generation of energy in Llauta, Ayacucho, since it covers the energy demand of the area and reduces the dependence on non-renewable energy sources. In conclusion, the design proposal for a photovoltaic system in the town of Punas Carne Rocurral represents a viable alternative for the generation of renewable energy in rural areas, with a positive impact on the environment and long-term economic profitability.
