This work addresses the high level of arrears of the payroll discount product of Cooperativa de Ahorros y Créditos San Miguel. This situation especially affects the Administrative Service Contract (CAS) type payrolls, where the highest percentage of liquidated members are located. Thus, several solutions were presented: implementation of software to optimize collection management, adoption of new policies based on the 5Cs of Morales Credit, loyalty building among payroll workers and restructuring of the portfolio assigned to employees. Accordingly, the implementation of financial management software was chosen because of its ability to automate and optimize processes, improving operational efficiency and data management accuracy. The software will allow for better organization and management of information, reducing the administrative burden and improving financial control. The implications of this decision include an increase in the efficiency of collection processes, a reduction in the administrative burden, optimization of financial resources, reduction of arrears, and improvement in loan recovery. In addition, greater effectiveness in credit and collections management is expected, strengthening the financial stability of the cooperative.
