Nowadays there is high competitiveness in companies in all areas and the metalworking sector is part of it. Low production efficiency is one of the problems of companies in this sector. Currently, the production efficiency of this sector is 75%, while that of the company under study after the analysis carried out was determined to be 69%, with a technical gap of 6% efficiency to improve, which does not It allows you to meet the demand of your customers, causing penalties that negatively impact your profitability. The main reasons are stoppages due to breakdowns that are caused by the action lever failing due to lubrication of the bending equipment. Likewise, due to blade breakage due to adjustment of the shear. Also, due to the internal shaft damaged by chip residue and dust from the presser. On the other hand, high configuration baking times are caused by delays in batch change preparation and delays in executing internal and external activities. This work aims to find the possible solution to improve the low efficiency in the production of electrical panels to meet the demand by applying the TPM improvement tools supported by the 5'S and the SMED tool which were found in the review. bibliographical information from various scientific sources such as Web Of Science, Scopus and others.
