The 2020 pandemic accelerated the digitization process of numerous Peruvian companies, highlighting a focus on e-commerce supported by digital advertising strategies. This shift transcended not only the retail market industries and the brands that build them, but also consumer behavior and preferences. During 2022, home appliance sales were mainly distributed among department stores, supermarkets, and specialists; of the total sales made, 32% represented online sales, experiencing a growth of 170% since 2019 (Indurama, private information, 2024). In response to this trend, Indurama Peru adopted a reactive strategy to address the digital migration. However, in 2023, a specific e-commerce division was established to boost online sales through a digital strategy aimed at effectively responding to new consumer needs. During the first year, the focus was on executing digital strategies, market, and competitor analysis, using price tracking tools, and brand studies. The first months of online sales resulted in a significant increase in online sales, reflecting strategic changes in brand perception on digital platforms. This project responded to a shift in consumer behavior through digital strategies in web advertising, social media, and search engines. These actions also expanded Indurama's reach into new digital markets, giving the brand a more contemporary and accessible perception for various previously unconsidered consumer segments.
