The research is being carried out on the farm of the company “Arena Verde SAC“, located in the village of Pañala, (Mórrope district, Lambayeque province and department), To evaluate the effect of inoculating an arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus (HMA) Glomus iranicum var. tenuihypharum (GIT) on the agronomic performance of three ecotypes of golden gooseberry (Physalis peruviana L.): Cajamarquino, Celendín and Colombiano. Inoculation was carried out at different times such as: In the seedbed, before transplanting, during transplanting and after transplanting. A randomized complete block design (DBCA) was used with a two-factor factorial arrangement in five repetitions and the comparison of means test with Tukey at 5%. The measurement of growth such as: Plant height, stem diameter, cover and leaf area, chlorophyll index, in the performance components: Fruit yield, exportable quality yield and discard, fruit weight, number of fruits per plant, and the quality of the fruit was: equatorial and polar diameter, fruit firmness, total soluble solids and titratable acidity. The results of the research show that no statistically significant differences were found in the inoculation moments factor and in the ecotype factor, but there are significant differences in the variables (cover and leaf area, chlorophyll index, fruits per plant, total yield and quality). exportable) in Cajamarquino, regarding the interactions, statistically significant differences were found in the variables (cover and leaf area, chlorophyll index, fruit weight). Under the conditions of the present investigation, AMF inoculation (GIT) is not recommended, because it does not have a significant effect on plant growth, nor on fruit yield and quality in the aguaymanto crop (Physalis peruviana L.).
