Implementación de procesos de planificación, monitoreo y control, basada en la Guía del PMBOK 6ta. edición, en el área de Ingeniería de una consultora de ingeniería y construcción

Abstract

El presente trabajo de suficiencia profesional consiste en la implementación de los procesos de planificación, monitoreo y control basada en la Guía del PMBOK, en el área de Ingeniería de la empresa consultora JAD Ingenieros Consultores, (nombre ficticio que se escogió para proteger la confidencialidad de la empresa) que brinda servicios ingeniería y construcción en el sector minero. El proyecto fue realizado en el año 2017 con la finalidad de poder mejorar las métricas de tiempo, costo y alcance de la gestión de los proyectos y poder así obtener beneficios económicos. El primer capítulo se refiere al análisis interno y externo de la empresa mediante la utilización de herramientas de Ingeniería Industrial como las cinco (5) fuerzas de Porter, matriz EFE, matriz EFI y análisis Pestel. En el segundo capítulo, se describe el objetivo general y los objetivos específicos para la presente investigación. En el tercer capítulo, se detalla el servicio adjudicado por una empresa minera, como alcance de la investigación. En el cuarto capítulo, se describen las justificaciones técnicas, económicas y sociales que permiten demostrar la viabilidad del proyecto. En el quinto capítulo, mediante la utilización, también, de la herramienta de Ingeniería Industrial como el diagrama de Ishikawa, se determinan las causas principales del problema identificado en el presente caso de estudio. Con ello, se selecciona la alternativa de solución y se realiza la ingeniería de la misma. Finalmente se describe el plan de implementación y se presenta la evaluación económica realizada, demostrando los beneficios económicos.

The present work of professional sufficiency consists of the implementation of the planning, monitoring and control processes based on the PMBOK Guide, in the Engineering area of the consulting company JAD Ingenieros Consultores, (fictitious name chosen to protect the confidentiality of the company) that provides engineering and construction services in the mining sector. The project was carried out in 2017 with the aim of being able to improve the metrics of time, cost and scope of project management and thus be able to obtain economic benefits. The first chapter refers to the internal and external analysis of the company through the use of Industrial Engineering tools such as Porter's five (5) forces, EFE matrix, EFI matrix and Pestel analysis. The second chapter describes the general objective and the specific objectives of this research. In the third chapter, the service awarded by a mining company is detailed as the scope of the research. The fourth chapter describes the technical, economic and social justifications that demonstrate the feasibility of the project. In the fifth chapter, also using an industrial engineering tool such as the Ishikawa diagram, the main causes of the problem identified in this case study are determined. With this, the solution alternative is selected and its engineering is carried out. Finally, the implementation plan is described and the economic evaluation is presented, showing the economic benefits.
