Years ago, at the beginning of the pandemic, the majority of incoming students came from traditional academies or those best known in the pre-university sector; however, with the changes brought about by the post-pandemic in 2023 and 2024, this meant an opportunity for emerging academies. The competitive focus of the pre-university sector was on attracting students interested in applying to the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM). While the rule in many institutions has been to build their image through results with students in first places, the Vonex academy showed a remarkable evolution in the number of entrants. For this reason, the academy saw the need to grow as a business. Thus, communicating its good results was paramount to its profitability and growth. The marketing team undertook a guerrilla campaign with a strategic approach to spread its differential value in its social networks: having more students is more relevant than achieving better positions. The methodology used in this project was mixed with a qualitative and quantitative approach. This procedure was achieved through the collection of surveys, focus groups and the creation of digital content. In addition, a survey of the main competitor brands was also conducted. As a result of a successful execution, two new locations were inaugurated: Santa Anita and Comas. Both have 17 classrooms and more than 70 students each. Finally, the comments on the channels had a positive approach towards the brand. This project is successful and a good contribution in the field of advertising due to the innovative, dynamic and disruptive way of marketing compared to the traditional marketing used in the market of traditional academies.
