To meet the objectives and solve the current problem, a wireless network for video surveillance is designed following the recommendations of the ITU and manufacturers' considerations. The main tools to comply with the regulations and calculations are obtained with the LINKPlanner radio link simulator software. The calculation of the bit rate required by each camera is also carried out by establishing its main parameters such as: resolution, frames per second, codec and conditions variables, subsequently the best choice of equipment is made to meet the technical requirements and propose a reasonable design. At the end, the results are validated in accordance with national regulations through the values allowed in the electromagnetic spectrum such as: unlicensed bands, maximum allowed power of the antennas, ITU recommendations and manufacturers' suggestions.
