In recent years, new trends have generated an increase in demand for eco-sustainable, local and healthy products. In this context, in 2017 the Cooperativa Amazónica de Conservación Voluntaria y Comunal - COOPERAMAZ was founded, an association of members of environmental conservation initiatives that works value chains of products made under a circular economy approach, such as cocoa fruit jelly and syrup, bee honey and coconut oil. This project presents the creation of a rebranding strategy for Cooperamaz, whose main objective was to strengthen brand presence in the local market of Moyobamba in 2022. The comprehensive rebranding strategy ranged from market research to the development of a participatory methodology to involve all members of the cooperative. Subsequently, the brand and its visual components were relaunched to provide the cooperative with a renewed identity, which increased its presence and competitiveness in the local market. In addition, improvements were made to the products in terms of labels and presentations, the price was adjusted, new channels were implemented, and a communication campaign was generated. Finally, this work reflects on the challenge of working with a cooperative that did not have a developed commercial vision, and its members were reluctant to new proposals due to their lack of knowledge of advertising concepts and practices.
