The project consists of a visual identity design and information design proposal for the San Isidro Children’s Library, which promotes reading in children at an early age through educational workshops and interactive activities to achieve their development in reading and writing, creative thinking and cognitive skills. The project is based on finding a design proposal focused on the motivations of parents when taking their children, to the Children’s Library. To carry out this proposal, a documentary research was carried out, in addition, fieldwork was carried out through a survey of the target group and various interviews with those in charge of the children’s library, in order to understand the context and the possible solution routes to enhance their visual communication. The objective of the project seeks to develop the design of visual identity and information design of the Children’s Library of San Isidro towards its target audience about the services, activities and workshops it provides. The validation of the proposal indicates that it does respond to the needs of both the Children’s Library and the target group and is consolidated as an innovative and functional proposal that facilitates access to information so that parents are aware of what the Children’s Library offers.
