At the present time, banks are a fundamental part of the development of countries and are regulated by external organizations, since they handle a large amount of financial information about the country and its citizens. Due to this, a bank in North America finds itself in the need to look for an innovative and personalized solution that allows it to improve its internal processes by making use of its internal information, since previously they had an old system that did not provide this information in a timely and efficient manner, resorting to manual extraction processes directly in the database. Therefore, using business intelligence, it has developed a back office module for advanced reporting within its current system, which allows it to view its information in a timely and optimal manner with respect to the requirements of each area of its organization. This system is made up of the Dashboard submodule (Reports shown with dynamic graphics), Report Repository (History of frequent reports), Reports (Reports shown through tables) and APIs (Reports exposed to other applications through APIs). Finally, this module went through a validation process, in which it demonstrated that the module met the requirements and needs of the bank. Likewise, an improvement was obtained in the accuracy of the data and the delivery times of the reports, which were reduced from 1-2 weeks to seconds.
