The present thesis research work “Proposal for the production of prefabricated concrete blocks with cabuya fibers and IP cement, with the purpose of reducing their thermal conductivity and improving their Thermal Resistance” The objective is to demonstrate that the manufacture of type masonry units block using concrete made with IP Cement added with cabuya fiber as raw material, improves its thermal capacity (reduces its thermal conductivity coefficient) without affecting its physical and mechanical conditions, therefore, its use in the construction of homes is feasible. This research deals with the production of concrete blocks made with IP cement added with Cabuya fibers in the preparation of the mixture of the blocks, so the materials of which they are composed were studied, in addition to the properties of the fiber. Cabuya and Pozzolana in concrete. The methodology of this research consists of tests with independent variables, sample 1: the original concrete block, sample 2: Concrete block made with IP cement + 0.5% dosage of rope fiber, sample 3: Block of concrete made with IP cement + 1.0% dosage of cabuya fiber, sample 4: Concrete block made with IP cement + dosage of 1.5% cabuya fiber, and sample 5: Concrete block made with IP cement + dosage 2.0% cabuya fiber. At the same time, Thermal Conductivity and Compression tests were carried out. In order to verify the effectiveness of our proposal to improve the concrete blocks used for reinforced masonry walls.
