Today, smaller companies in the production industry lack knowledge about the advantages that come with adopting the use of the Lean Manufacturing methodology, such as increasing effectiveness, performance, eradicating excesses and tasks without benefit to the customer. , in addition to promoting the competence of its entities, after carrying out the examination of the data collected, the outcome was to disclose the challenges and fundamental reasons that were detrimental to the production procedure, therefore, it endeavored to propose a response option in harmony with the study problem in question. This research provides us with a concise synopsis of the company and production procedures. As a starting point, it clearly details what the Lean Manufacturing methodology consists of and the progress of its instruments. Later, the present condition of the company's production procedures will be explained, along with the analysis of the problem and what causes the problem. return of products due to irregularities that have arisen in the current manufacturing process. Next, the execution and advantages obtained through the Lean Manufacturing methodology during the manufacturing stage will be detailed and how it will strive to reduce item returns generated by products that do not meet the requirements. To conclude, the execution of the technique will be presented in metrics that demonstrate its feasibility, such as the NPV and IRR, which confirms that the recovery of the investment is feasible for the improvement suggestion, other favorable outcomes included the reduction of the execution times. manufacturing and the elimination of tasks that do not add value to the procedure.
