In the current context of global trade, protection and efficiency in the logistics chain are essential for the success of organizations involved in foreign trade. In this sense, the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification has become quite significant. This certification validates that companies comply with the security and customs compliance standards established in their country, which allows them to access benefits and facilities in customs and trade procedures. This paper will provide a comprehensive analysis of the AEO certification process by implementing strategic changes in the operations of Freno S.A., a company specialized in the production and export of friction products. The impact of AEO certification on Freno S.A.'s export operations will be analyzed in detail, as well as the requirements, benefits, challenges and best practices associated with this process. Through a rigorous methodological approach that will include interviews, documentary analysis and case studies, it will seek to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of the AEO certification process and its relevance to the export operations of Freno S.A. This study will not only contribute to the body of academic knowledge regarding foreign trade and customs administration, but will also offer practical recommendations for similar companies seeking to improve their efficiency and competitiveness in the global arena. This improvement proposal will be part of a study to identify the problems faced by the area in a scenario where companies seek to be more productive, developing economic advantages and raising quality parameters regarding service and product.
