The general objective of this project is to determine the market, technological, economic, financial and social feasibility of installing a toothbrush production plant based on the polylactic acid biopolymer. Market feasibility was determined through surveys conducted on a statistically valid sample of Peru. For the last year of the project, a market demand of over 66 million toothbrushes was determined. As for the location of the facility, it was determined that the best location is in the Department of Lima, Ate District, as it has the shortest distance to an important part of the target market, low energy and land costs, and better citizen security. Plant size was determined based on size relative to the market. The speed of the system is 645.68 brushes per hour. Regarding the economic and financial aspects, the economic capital value is S/2,590,880.50 and the financial capital value is S/2,686,334.06. On the other hand, the economic IRR is 60.58% and the financial IRR is 88.42%. Finally, the recovery period of economic investment is 1 year and 11 months.
