The objective of this research work is to carry out an integral diagnosis of the process of corrective maintenance at the telecommunication towers in the department of Lima, since the objectives proposed by the company were not being met. In 2019, the company had a corrective problem resolution target of 6:30 hours, however, the actual time was 21:42 hours on average, approximately 15 hours of deviation. After performing a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the process, it was identified that improvement opportunities should be aligned to reduce downtime in the management of access to the towers to perform maintenance. An agile table was set up, using the SCRUM methodology for the organization of the team and the deliverables to management. After an evaluation process, two solutions were implemented: identification of access cases of digitalization by the technician using a self-consultation tool. The development was a chatbot on the Telegram application. As second solution, a differentiated process was established to reduce the validation times for access with the building center tower. The implementation of solutions reduced the corrective maintenance of problem resolution times to more than 50% by November 2020. Additionally, it had a positive economic impact that could be supported through the cost/benefit ratio of 4,37, which demonstrated that it was profitable project.
