The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between the conservation of wild birds and the development of ecotourism in the town of Boca del Río, Cañete - 2021. The research was developed using a quantitative technique and a type of basic research with design non-experimental transectional or transversal descriptive and correlational type. Considering a population of 250 inhabitants, a sample of 152 people residing in the Boca del Río town center in the district of San Vicente, Cañete, was selected through simple random non-probabilistic sampling. The data collection technique was the survey, the instrument is the questionnaire, the dichotomous options on the dimensions of bird conservation: bird species, habitat, ecotourism potential, the development of ecotourism: natural environments, ecosystem development and biodiversity. The result of the study confirmed the hypothesis proposed based on Spearman's Rho statistical analysis, revealing a positive association between the conservation of birdlife and the development of ecotourism, with a percentage value of 95.4% and a high level of significance of 0.000. In conclusion, this research has shown that the conservation of wild birdlife is closely linked to the development of ecotourism in Boca del Río, Cañete, in 2021.
