This study aimed to determine the relationship between anthropogenic and natural factors in the formulation of a conservation plan for the Fortaleza de Ungará in San Vicente, Cañete, during the year 2022. Key dimensions addressed included societal vulnerability, land use planning, natural phenomena, and degradation. The research method employed was hypothetical-deductive, with a non-experimental design and a quantitative approach, within the framework of basic research. The population consisted of 245 inhabitants, and a sample of 53 was selected. The application of two validated and reliable questionnaires yielded results with Cronbach's alpha coefficients of 0.814 and 0.816 for each questionnaire, respectively. The results revealed a correlation coefficient of 0.548 in the parametric Spearman's Rho test, indicating a moderate positive correlation between anthropogenic and natural factors in the formulation of a conservation plan. Furthermore, the level of significance was 0.000 (p<0.05), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (HO) and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H1). In conclusion, the significant and moderate correlation between anthropogenic and natural factors underscores the need for a comprehensive approach to conserving this Fortaleza. This integrated approach ensures that conservation strategies are suitable for protecting both the cultural heritage and the surrounding natural environment, promoting a sustainable and balanced approach to the management of this important historical site..
