This thesis entitled “Road design that links Chambac – Quio – Saucepampa – Mitopampa hamlets in the province of Santa Cruz – Cajamarca”, had as its main objective to determine the geometric and structural design of the Neighborhood Road under study. The methodology was applied type, Descriptive level and Field research design. The results were obtained, in terms of Geometric Design, a Third Class Highway was established due to its Undulating Topography and for having an IMDA of 206 vehicles/day; Regarding Structural Design, the thicknesses were obtained for both Rigid Pavement and Flexible Pavement, these being 2” for the asphalt layer, 6” for the base and 4” for the subbase for a Flexible Pavement; and for Rigid Pavement; 5.5” of concrete and 6” of granular base. Regarding the cost for Flexible Pavement, a budget of S/ 8,254,642.38 and Rigid Pavement, S/ 9,062,974.30 was determined, the use of Rigid Pavement being more feasible and beneficial because it remains in better condition in the face of external factors, such as climatic factors and progressive increase. of vehicular traffic.
