The present work addresses the systematization of a dynamic experiment applied to reinforced concrete beams, structured to examine the impact of load rates on their mechanical behavior. By adapting the design, geometry, and applied load configurations of the original experiment, the load rates for displacement control were set at 0.1 mm/s, 0.5 mm/s, 1 mm/s, 5 mm/s, and 10 mm/s. The systematization of the given experiment was successfully carried out using SAP 2000 software. As a result, the maximum approximation to the values of the initial experiment was achieved. Additionally, the influence of load rates on the tested failure mode and on the Load-Displacement curves of the analyzed elements was studied, revealing a direct relationship between the increase in load rates and the cracking, ultimate, and failure loads. In conclusion, the effect of the initial increase in load rates is highlighted by a more uniform distribution of initial cracks, with a decrease in their depth. The progressive increase in load rates is proportional to the structural failure loads of the element. This concordance between the obtained results allows for more accurate projections of the mechanical behavior of the elements, thus contributing to the advancement in understanding and predicting their response under different loading conditions
