Due to the need to use various protection methods to ensure the durability of reinforced concrete, innovative technologies are used that provide us with science, where short-term investigations can be carried out in order to prevent the performance of tests that are carried out in relatively long times, and in this way, obtain immediate solutions. The premature decrease in the duration of any reinforced concrete structure is due to its exposure to Marian environments that contain aggressive agents, which causes the corrosion of steel embedded in concrete, especially in larger urban centers. The present investigation arises from the need to obtain a value that allows to technically and economically evaluate all the available options in terms of protection against corrosion. Due to various technical reasons, the corrosion of the steel rods used as reinforcement in the concrete will be carried out by using the concrete pore solution (SPC), in order to replace the tests carried out on concrete samples. assembled in the field This solution simulates how steel behaves in concrete. Chloride ions are added to the pore solution of concrete (SPC) in laboratory studies to simulate the corrosive medium (metal-solution). This helps to obtain corrosion rates using electrochemical techniques such as: Electrochemical Frequency Modulation, Potentiodynamic Polarization Curves or Tafel (CPP), through the Potentiodynamic Cyclic Polarization (PCP) technique. A study was made on the ASTM A 615 steel used in the construction of engineering works for 3 months to detect the aggressiveness of the districts of Trujillo, such as Huanchaco, Víctor Larco, Las Delicias and Salaverry, which have been affected by this problem
