This research, ““Assertive communication and perception of humanized care provided by the nursing professional in emergency, Ferreñafe Reference Hospital, Lambayeque - 2024““. The purpose of this study is to identify whether there is a correlation between the assertive communication style of the emergency nurse and the patient's impression of the compassionate treatment he received at the Ferreñafe Reference Hospital, Lambayeque – 2024. The research is quantitative, cross-sectional, descriptive correlational, with a sample of 319 patients to whom a questionnaire was applied to evaluate the level of assertive communication and how the user perceives the compassionate treatment by emergency nurses. The study found that 52% of the population considers the level of assertive communication between nurses and users to be low. In addition, 50.2% of the population says that they have never felt that they received humanized care from a nurse. In all dimensions of perception of humanized care, users reported never having received humanized care. It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between assertive communication and users' perception of the humanized care provided by nurses (Sig = 0.000; Rho= 0.720).
