o determine the efficacy of the Educational Module ““Adolescent Pregnancy and Contraceptive Methods““ on the level of knowledge among secondary education female students of the I.E. 'Santa Teresita' - Cajamarca.MATERIALS AND METHODS:Quasi-experimental study, with longitudinal before-and-after control, where each patient served as their own control; 209 secondary education female students from the I.E. 'Santa Teresita' - Cajamarca participated in the application of the educational module. Binary logistic regression analysis was used to determine the correlation between qualitative variables, and the Wilcoxon test was used to evaluate the intervention's effectiveness.RESULTS: Out of the initial population, the module proved effective for 198, while 11 did not show favorable results. Before the module application, 56.5% of the students had a low level of knowledge. However, after the intervention, none qualified in this level, and 70.3% reached a high level of knowledge. This change was statistically significant (p < 0.001), with an observed effectiveness of 94.7%. Regarding the participants' sociodemographic characteristics, no significant differences were found between effective and non-effective groups in these variables (p > 0.05), suggesting that the module had a uniform impact regardless of these characteristics. CONCLUSION:The Educational Module ““Adolescent Pregnancy and Contraceptive Methods““ was effective in improving the level of knowledge among secondary education female students of the I.E. 'Santa Teresita' - Cajamarca.
