The main objective of this thesis entitled “Simple Concrete Design Applying Ceramic Waste for Social Housing, Huanchaco 2021” was to determine the effect of ceramic waste in the design of simple concrete for social housing in the district of Huanchaco. The methodology was applied, experimental and classic design. As a result, the average compressive strength at 28 days of the standard concrete was 359 kg/cm2, for the concrete with 25% substitution of coarse aggregate by ceramic waste an average of 322 kg/cm2, for the concrete with 50% substitution of coarse aggregate by ceramic waste an average of 305 kg/cm2 and for the concrete with 75% substitution of coarse aggregate by ceramic waste an average of 286 kg/cm2. As for the cost of social housing, between the standard concrete and the concrete with the substitution of 75% of ceramic waste there is a 2% difference, which when amplified to a set of social housing presents an economic and ecological saving, reducing the pollution produced by construction in general. In short, by substituting the coarse aggregate with ceramic waste in the different percentages designed meets the required compressive strength of 210 kg/cm2 generating a cost reduction and decrease the environmental pollution.
