The objective of this thesis was to improve inventory control in the Odifarma pharmacy, applying Automatic Process Robot (RPA), this arose from the need of the workers, in which they made daily manual records, causing loss of a lot of time due to the large number of new products entered or sold, in addition, it had a negative impact. Being its general problem, to what extent does the Automatic Process Robot (RPA) improve the inventory control of a Pharmacy in the Imperial district, 2023? In the development of the thesis, the Kanban methodology was applied, as an agile alternative. The theoretical foundations are related to technological evolution, which is characterized by the gradual and cumulative progress of knowledge, where each innovation lays the foundations for more advanced future technologies. Finally, regarding the results, it is mentioned that, in the accuracy of inventory records, being our first indicator, it has improved to 92.6% and in the case of the amount of time required to make a record, which is the second gauge, dropped to 30.9 seconds. It is concluded that the implementation of the Automatic Process Robot positively influences the inventory control of the Odifarma pharmacy, and in order to maintain the positive results of this implementation, the continuation of the use of RPA is suggested as an essential component in the process.
