Despite technological advances, the MDI (Municipalidad Distrital de Imperial) did not have a web system for recording and tracking incidents, since they were carried out manually. Therefore, the objective of this research focused on determining to what extent the implementation of a web system optimizes the process of incident management in the Informatics and Statistics Unit of the District Municipality of Imperial, Cañete, 2023. For this purpose, the CRUM framework was used as an agile methodology for the implementation of the web system. Being of quantitative approach, the type of research was applied, taking a pre-experimental design where the sample size was 30 records of incidents with non-probabilistic sampling by convenience; therefore, the fiching was used as a technique and the registration form as an instrument to obtain data. As a result, the system significantly increased, from 54.77% to 96.73%, the incident resolution rate and significantly reduced, rom 83% to 52.12%, the rate of time used in incident resolution. It is concluded hat the web system optimizes satisfactorily the incident management of MDI and it is recommended to give the corresponding relevance to this process in order to encourage its continued use.
