The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between construction and demolition waste management for the environmental sustainability of tourism in Lunahuana. The methodology used corresponds to a basic research, with a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design and a correlational level. The study population was 4,393 residents of the Lunahuana district and 353 residents were chosen through a probabilistic sample. The survey was used as a technique and two questionna ires were prepared. The first, allowed us to collect information on the variable management of construction and demolition waste and the second, on tourism environmental susta inability. The results showed that the management of construction and demolition waste does have a significant relationship with the tourism environmental sustainability of Lunahuana, since when doing the statistical analysis the significance value was 0.00 <0.05 at a level of 95% confidence. It is concluded that the correct management of construction and demolition waste allows the tourist environmental sustainability of Lunahuana, because good waste management helps to avoid damaging the various environments, such as roads, river banks, sidewalks, front walls of houses or tourist centers; damaging the scenic beauty by inappropriate actions that deteriorate the environment for current and future generations.
